A two-component epoxy-based primer formulated with zinc dust to provide excellent corrosion protection for metal substrates. The zinc particles protect the surface through cathodic protection, ensuring superior resistance against heat, salt spray, marine environments, and various chemical solutions.The coating is compatible with all types of topcoats, providing flexibility for various finishing systems.

APPLICATION SYSTEM :

Surface preparation

Rust removal

Perform abrasive blasting to achieve ISO 8501-1 Sa 2.5 or SSPC- SP 10 (Near White Metal Blast Cleaning) for optimal cleanliness.

Painting System (Steel)

Primer Coat | SUPERGUARD ZINC H

Intermediate Coat | SUPERGUARD HB MIO / SUPERGUARD HB

Topcoat | SUPERGUARD FX-G (Internal), SUPERGUARD PU 777 (External)

Recommendation | The surface to be painted should have a temperature between 10–50°C, and the relative humidity should not exceed 85%.

HANDLING AND STORAGE :

Storage

The product must be stored in accordance with national regulations. Keep the containers in a dry, cool, well ventilated space and away from source of heat and ignition. Containers must be kept tightly closed.
